Each participant(s) will fall into one of the four categories below. Please enter the appropriate division during your registration for appropriate award presentation.
This wave is for pros and elite age groupers. If you're fast this is your chance to go head-to-head with others regardless of age.
Age groups are separated in 5-year increments. Your race age is based on your age on December 31st of this year. This is done so that you race at the same age for the entire season.
The minimum age to participate are as follows: sprint distance - 12 years old, quarter distance - 14 years old, half distance -16 years old.

12-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
You can also select to participate in the Athena/Clydesdale, separated according to body weight instead of age group. The categories are Athena (Female 165 + lbs) or Clydesdale (Male 220 + lbs). Athena/Clydesdale is an option for registration and not required. Available for Half, Quarter and Sprint. Awards are for Top 3 for Female and Top 3 for Male.
Relays are available for the Sprint and Half Distance events. Awards are for top 3 teams overall in each distance
All finishers at the Kerrville Triathlon Festival will receive an official belt buckle Finisher Medal to commemorate your awesome achievement. These high-quality medals will look great hanging on a wall in your home or office or worn around town!
